uncategorized what is the name of this old kids tv show it was a show with animals and suchh?
my small sister used to mind this show and i cant remember what its calllled. there was a boy and a girl and they rode theyre bikes to like the woods or a mountain or something where they found like animals who were theyre friends and theyre was an eagle, a buffalo, and a snake i reflect and thats all i can remember. i need to know the name of this showw!

uncategorized my fiance wants me to quit my career for her. any help?
well, the title says it all. i am a professional mountain biker, who makes well over enough to provide for a family tree, but she wants me to go into a more predictable field, which is less perilous. i know that she only has my safety and our security in mind, and i know i absolutely like her, but i have to admit, mountain biking is my life. at this point, its who i am. i do have a degree, and when i was young, i set myself up for a career in ecology as a back-up plot. the thing is even if, i like mountain biking. it is a part of me, as much as she is a part of me. but she was so close-minded about it. the way she said it, i was practically “its me or the bike”. if i had to choose, i would have to say i would change for her. but biking is nearly all i know, and it is my passion.
could you see a negotiate on this?

uncategorized are there any sedan cars that can have a class 3 hitch (not for towing)?
I am looking for a 4-bike solution for a sedan style car. I currently have a 2006 Honda Accord. The only available hitch for it is a class I.

For all of the hitch mounted bike racks, the MFR says to either only carry 2 bikes, or only carry 3 bikes.

A Roof mounted system is not an option because of my height.

I have 4 bikes to carry – 2 kids bikes at 40 pounds each
1 road bike at 20 pounds
1 mountain bike at 45 pounds (adult)

tongue weight limit is 200 pounds.

Please help me find either:
a class 2 or 3 hitch for my car (will not be used for towing)
a sedan style car that has a class 2 or 3 hitch available to buy and install
a 1 1/4″ hitch mounted bike rack that not only holds 4 bikes, but the MFR says that it is OK to CARRY 4 bikes on it, and will not go over the 200 beat limit (don’t forget to include the weight of the bike rack)

I am looking to reenter the mountain biking leisure activity. I rode one when I was a kid and I loved it, my friends finished up going BMX so I followed then but now I am looking to return to mountain biking. I am looking at the above models but I’m not sure which one I want. I am looking for a excellent trail riding bike that can handle rough terrain like rooted trails and the like. I’d perfer ruggedness over speed but I don’t want to sacrifice much of either. Any experienced riders able to help me out?

uncategorized How can I get started in the world of cycling?
I took an online P.E. course for school three summers ago that was an introduction in cycling. The handbook required to read introduced the different types of biking and safety etc and ever since then, I’ve wanted to become more serious about it.
I like racing and street riding but I can’t get a grasp at mountain biking (amusing tale)
Anyway, how do i get started?
from bikes, to organizations, to clubs, to informational books i’m just looking on general in rank to crack down on a new leisure activity
After reading a couple answers, I realize that I must have specified that I’m past the interest of “casual” riding. I have bike and I ride it, but how do I start racing? how do I train for it?

I have a Giant FCR 4 flat bar road bike/hybrid (Giant calls it a “fitness” bike). I like its speed and handling compared to my previously owned mountain bikes, but I went to an area that has many hills covered in potholes and gravel. I’ve found that the ride is quite rough, not only for comfort, but for safety (I ride through a lot of city transfer). So far it’s been okay, but I would prefer not to risk careening off into transfer after plowing through a mess of road hazards. My contemporary tires are 700×28c. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can modify on my bike or my riding style to improve the comfort and safety of my bike?

I’ve heard of cruisers, mountain bikes, road bikes, and more. I don’t know what kid to get. I plot on using it around Los Angeles when I’m not using my car. Essentially taking the bus or the subway to different parts of the city (Hollywood, long beach, Venice beach, Santa Monica) and using my bike to get around.

I don’t expect to do a lot of rural biking but something that will hold up. Something simple but also something capable. Any clues what kind of bike I would need.

I am currently looking for a new car and would like some help. I require a couple of things, a excellent mpg, extra space, and a excellent safety rating. I am going into institution soon and my ancient car just went over 180,000 miles. I need space because I mountain bike, I’m on ski patrol, and i’m a DJ with a lot of equipment to go frequently. I live in New England and I need a car that can handle well in the snow and is reliable in parts. Thankfulness guys!

I have a 18-month-ancient child and want to take her on rides with me around the neighborhood. Would she (and I) be safer (and more pleased) with a child seat or a trailer?

Also, what kind of bike is ideal for biking with kids (hybrid, mountain, comfort)? If you want to give a specific brand and/or model, that would help also.
