I’m 15 turning 16 in small under 2 weeks and I have been asking my parents for permission (buy everything with own my money) to buy a dirt bike for about a month with only being able to convince my dad. What I don’t know is why I’m not aloud when she sees me as a responsible son. Must I be allowed one and if so is there anyway to convince her or do you reflect I must not have one and why.
-Please take time to read and answer-
I go on my mountain bike often and am very confident on it, I have done it once at a 5 day school trip (as well as quad biking, which is more perilous), I am willing to pay for the bike, safety equipment and cost of going on a track, I have means of transporting the bike to the 5 available sites, I get top grades and she has offered my small sister who is 12 to do pony riding which is a lot more perilous plus i’m 5′10 70kg and ill only be using at 110cc bike.
Please Help. Thankfulness in advance.

Your growing up and getting older.
You have to show them your more responsible, helping them know that you are will greatly increase your chances. Building sure you have a influential argument will get you your bike.
Talk to your dad. Tell him to help you with this, and that he will help you learn how to ride it, and be responsible. Say, Dad is going to show me what how to use it properly and statistically, more people die in car accidents and cigarette poisoning than bikes! I will be using it once in a while here and there, and i promise not to be stupid with it, please, i rarely get the chance to do whatever thing enjoyable. And besides, mom, it’s just a bicycle with more control and an engine.
also question them to give you course training or some bullspit like that…
OR
just buy it anyways, and say it’s non refundable lol
