well said. I tell all riders the same thing.
splendid video thanx
Wow
as you get better you dont change your pedals, you change your terran (until you`re a pro level dh-rider then it´s really okey to go with clip-pedals
)
that chick could prolly kick my fuckin ass
Entrust me, riding clipless is simple, nearly a no brainer. I’ve been riding clipless for about a month, it is not hard at all. The first thing you must do is loosen the tension on the pedals if yours are adjustable, and just remember to unclip. The only people that tip over are those that forget to unclip. Clipless pedals really feel splendid once you adjust, you get much more leverage and power to the cranks. BTW, the flat pedals are called platform pedals. Idiot. Not you guys, this chick.
i would recommend not using pedals with both flat and clipless gears for that “scare factor” on ticky trails. because ur foot will probably clip in by accident anyway and then youll be shitting yourself and fall. Also u may be trying to preclude ur foot from clipping in, then u wont be riding properly on a hard part so then youll fall. They are better for ppl that use there bike for mountain biking and going to the shops from time to time. As the cletes suck to walk in.
Cleats are exceptional if you are experienced, they give more power and speed for XC riding or trails. Flats are better for downhill/freeride, simpler to use your feet Match your pedals to your riding style. And remember, IF IN DOUBT, GO FASTER!!!!
For someone experienced yes.. I’ve been riding for 3 weeks =-)
